“That’s a hard one. I feel like I do believe in luck, in a way. A friend said this thing one time many years ago and it became our motto: it always evens out. I believe that in one way or another, it always evens out. Kind of like karma, but for all things, not just doing good or bad things. Like, if you get really unlucky, something lucky will happen soon. It’s super stupid and irrational but I’ve seen it proven so many times, but that’s probably just confirmation bias. Either way, that’s my motto. It always evens out.”
